TRIBUTE TO LYNYRD SKYNYRD

Yes, it's true I have started posting again. It's a good way to communicate with Waldo while he is in the U.A.E. But anyway, this post is going out to our faithful Lynyrd Skynyrd. I recently attended the show at Meadowbrook. I must say that it was one of the greatest shows I have ever been to. They opened with the great song, "Workin' For MCA" then continued and played a series of classic Skynyrd songs. The band closed with the famous "Sweet Home Alabama" then came out for an encore and played the most amazing version of "Free Bird" that I have ever heard. And I am also posting to commemorate our beloved Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, and Cassie Gaines who died in the famous 1977 plane crash. I have to give them a hats off for staying together all these years. I also want to recognise Peter Frampton for opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was amazing to. I suggest you check out his web site- www.frampton.com. And no they are not racist. They sing a song about a black man that plays the blues. There is nothing negative in the song. And they played it at the concert. And in the words of Johnny Van Zant, "SKYNYRDS IN THE HOUSE!" PEACE.
